Any day with ice cream is a good day. I'm pretty sure I have the blessing of my authorities when I say that.
A few years ago, a grateful family donated a soft-serve ice cream maker to our Home. It's been a blessing for celebrations like the first day of spring, cruise week, and summer hot spells.
Our residents love being able to enjoy cones or cups throughout the day when we have it running in the dining room.
Next Tuesday, to celebrate the imminence of spring, we are pulling out the machine and planting it squarely in the dining room.
Please feel free to join us on the 17th (which also happens to be St. Patrick's Day--another reason to celebrate) at 2:30 in the dining room.
