Thank you all for your support over the Christmas season. Many of you showed your support through coming in to carol, visiting the residents, and bringing in goodies.
We're always happy to have carolers.
That means that we're glad to have them around Christmastime. And we're glad to have them in, say, July.
Wait a minute, you say. July? But no one carols in July.
That's just the point.
Actually, we'd love to have carolers in these first few months when the weather is yucky and the residents are growing restless.
The truth is that the hardest couple months for most residents are January and February. Having visitors or entertainers is vastly helpful in taking the tedium from these months.
Maybe you're not a singer. That's fine. If you have an art, hobby, instrument, or even a comedy routine, we welcome you to come and perform.
And don't worry about being a top-notch performer. Most residents won't remember your mistakes, but they will remember that you came.
If you or anyone you know would like to come in, call Deb Reilman, Activity Director, at (309)923-2071, ext. 170.
