Wintertime Crafts

January 29, 2018

A few weeks ago, residents within the Home crafted snowmen out of rice and socks. Months before that, the craft project was "muffin" bird feeders. Another time, we painted with spice/glue mixture for a multi-sensory picture.

Sometimes coming up with craft ideas means thinking outside the box, which is great for staff and residents alike. After all, creative thinking makes crafts fun!

Tomorrow we're making valentines from old puzzle pieces, Popsicle sticks, and paint. Curious? Feel free to come in at 2:00 to see how it's done.

By the way, if you have any great craft ideas that you think our residents would enjoy, feel free to call our Activity Department (309-923-2017, ext. 172).
