Isn't it wonderful how technology has advanced over the years? Sometimes we get so wrapped up in the newest gadget, that we forget how it affects the older generation.
Often, new technology is confusing and overwhelming to the elderly, but there are ways to make connections.
Take, for instance, the Wii. By using our Wii (which one family lovingly donated to the Home), older people can find a gentle form of exercise and a healthy sense of competition. One resident commented after playing that "we should do that more often!"
Yes, it's wonderful how technology advances, but it's even more wonderful when that technology includes the elderly.
