There are few pianists as fun and entertaining as Mary Sherwood. She plays without music, without anything, really, except a keen ear for music and an overflowing joy that radiates from her face.
Our residents love her. As she plays hymns and oldies, her fingers bounce all over the keyboard that she has loved and served so well.
Mary and her husband, both music therapists for over twenty years, came in to our Home for years, playing, singing, telling stories, and chatting with residents. When her husband passed on, Mary continued to spread her ministry of joy.
And truly it is a joyful ministry. Her music and face exude joy and love.
You should hear her.
We'd love to have you come in and experience her one-of-a-kind music this afternoon at 2:00.
