If we were honest, we all thought that summer began back in May. It sure felt like it. But according to the sun, in only began today.
For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, today is the longest day of the year--15 hours and 14 minutes for those of us in central Illinois. It's a perfect day for working and playing outside.
And we can spend the night (all 8 hours and 46 minutes of it), recuperating from a long day in the sunshine. Work, play, and rest hard.
Here at the Home we celebrate the summer season with outings, barbecues, parties, and benefit preparation.
How do you celebrate summer?
