Benefit 2018: Baked Goods, Produce, and Handicrafts

August 20, 2018

There are a couple different ways you can help out with the benefit this year.

You know that zucchini plant going crazy in your back yard?

We'd love to have some to sell at our Farmer's Market this benefit (August 24, 4:00-8:00). Each year, the community brings their extra garden produce to sell or comes to the farmer's market to buy what they don't have growing in their gardens. It's a wonderful community exchange that benefits the Home.

Are you a gifted baker? Or do you like to eat goodies that someone else baked?

Either way, feel free to come to our bake sale (August 24, 4:00-8:00). Bakers, please have your goodies there between 12:00 and 3:00 to be priced. Buyers, come after four to see what goodies you can pick up for your supper/snack/breakfast.

Are you a knitter/crocheter/embroider-er? On Saturday, August 25, we have a handicrafts booth where we sell beautifully hand-worked items. Whether you're the type to buy these up or the type to make them, we'd love to help you out.
