It's Thanksgiving Day and we are so thankful for:
A community that supports and blesses our Home daily.
All of the residents here that brighten our day with smiles and laughter.
The workers who go over and above their duties to make this place special for everyone who lives here.
The volunteers who help out with every-day, ordinary tasks and also those who perform the occasional unusual jobs.
Supportive family members and friends who visit our residents.
A warm Home, especially in these wintry months. Our maintenance man works overtime keeping the outside where it belongs and the inside nice and warm for our comfort.
A heritage of outstanding care in our facility.
A God who loves and does not give up on us. Sometimes we forget how incredible this is.
What are you thankful for this Thanksgiving? Remember, this isn't just Turkey Day (as it is becoming popularly called). This is a day to give thanks.
