Thoughts on Snow
They say that it's the most wonderful time of the year.
I've never been a snow-lover, particularly since I began driving. Snow equaled dangerous roads, and I'm not a fan of that.
However, there is something wonderful about a fresh layer of white stuff falling in pristine flakes to make the world clean and open again.
Not only that, but it's a reminder about how our sin and filth is covered in Christ's righteousness. We are not ugly and dirty before God, because Christ has covered us with His blood and made us clean. And unlike snow, Christ who is our righteousness will not melt away with the sunshine.
What a reason to celebrate Christmas!
