After being cooped up all winter, it feels good to finally see something on the schedule that involves getting out and "stretching our wings," as my mother would say.
Country drives are a chance to shake out the kinks in our joints and see the world come alive again.
This is also a great opportunity for you to get your JO5. It gives you great flexibility to take your loved one out when it suits you and not when it suits our volunteers.
And if you'd like to volunteer to drive at any of our outings, we'd love to have you on our team! We have a lot of fun going to zoos, out for picnics, to shows, and even just simple drives to get out and see the world. As always, we take care of our drivers' expenses whenever they come with us.
Getting your JO5 only takes a simple driving test and training session. As outings and appointments come up, we send out no-pressure outing and appointment options for people to claim. We'd be thrilled if you would be interested in adding your name to our email list.
