Organizing the auction this year has taken some doing--it's a little overwhelming trying to transition everything to an online format.
But the goal is and always has been to make things as seamless as possible for "attendees."
So let me give you the details so that you're prepared to bid on items you love.
Our auction is currently posted online at https://www.32auctions.com/homecomingday2020. Feel free to nose around on the site a little to get familiar with the format. You will need to create an account to bid, but it is super simple, requiring only your name, email address, and a password (which you can forget after the weekend is over).
There are auction items posted now, and you are welcome to check them out, but actual bidding does not begin until August 21 at 8:00 a.m. Also, be sure to check back often for newly posted items.
There is an ending time on auction items, but extended bidding is in place, so please note that the auction will continue until there have been no bids for three minutes, for a maximum of thirty minutes. The auction ends on August 22 at 4:00 p.m.
If you wish to donate an item for our online auction, be sure to contact me at (309) 923-2071, ext. 114 or michelle@achroanoke.org and have the item to us on or before August 14.
